Hello everyone,

I was an active member of the forum a few years ago (potentially 12yrs looking at my username) and am back again so am a sort of newbie..

Little bit about me.. I was diagnosed with T1 in 2009 shortly after my 20th birthday and went on to the 640G Medtronic pump in 2015 and recently started using the Libre 2

Nice to be back 🙂

Welcome back I do remember you, so nice to see you again. How are you keeping?

Welcome back and I look forward to hearing more from you.

Thank you it’s lovely recognising some of the usernames

Overall keeping well, thank you. I’m now on 1500mg of Metformin a day and am getting to know the Libre 2 after a long while of putting off using a Libre at all so will probably be asking a lot of questions and thread stalking for tips!

My MH suffered during the pandemic and I’ve found that certain social media sites aren’t helping so I thought coming back to a much more positive place like this forum would do me some good along with helping others with their questions if I can 🙂

How about yourself?

Hi and welcome back
I think you might be the right person to contact taffygirl, whose 23 year old daughter has just been diagnosed Type 1, and she's looking for guidance

Pleased to hear you are keeping well 🙂
Fortunately this site has kept it's positivity during the pandemic which is good as it has helped a lot of people.

Diabetes wise I'm very well thanks just waiting for neurology apt to find out if my breathing problems are due to MS. Hopefully once I have some answers I can move on and start the search for a new puppy dog after losing my lovely Lab on the 14th, the house is very empty at the moment :(

I think the forum is exactly the sort of positivity I need!

Fingers crossed the answers are with you sooner rather than later. My condolences on your loss :(
