I am getting low readings, in the 3's, mostly when I finish work about 6 hrs after lunch, now some first thing am so asked for the nurse to call me, looks like it is the receptionist that has been saying she can't leave the nurse a message as the nurse said I can always contact her, so she said to stop taking Sitagliptin 1 X 100mg then if things are stable in 2 weeks I can reduce Metformin from 2 x 1000mg per day down to 1 x 500mg and she might add a drug that helps with the weight loss but not sure what that is, I have got rid of a stone since early December 2020.
I'm doing everything I can to help myself but am doing it calmly and slowly also seeing it as rest of life changes so no fad diets.
Fingers crossed as the Metformin gives me bad wind and I have been caught out a few times when delivering my meds to care homes because as I let the wind out at the front door of some homes after ringing the door bell, as some take ages to answer the door, when I let it go somehow they answer the door almost straight away so get the meds and a nasty niff 😛.
Sorry if that some take offence to talk of bum gas but it is a real issue for me and they say nurses have it thought in these times.
