Faulty sensors
Prepared my skin
Opened up the applicator and spotted something was not quite right
No applicator needle in sight, made a mental note to contact Abbott tomorrow .

Got another sensor out of the cupboard, opened up the applicator annnd didn’t get the needle .

This happened twice more and now I am left sonsorless. I know Abbott will replace them but I am bereft and don’t know how I will cope without all that info and my poor fingers are going to suffer too :(.

The icing on the cake is.
I decided to order some more sensors , Abbott’s site decided to play silly Er ..... sods with my password .
So I thought I’d come here and have a moan .
Off to try Abbott again wish me luck .

Do you mean when you just opened them up, or after you’d put them together and pulled them apart again? I was just putting one on yesterday, and happened to remark to myself that when you first open the applicator up, you can’t see any needle, but when you’ve picked up the sensor with it, then you can.
(sorry if this is grandmother/eggs)

@Robin . Than you
DOH.
I’ve only been using them for nigh on three yrs but you’d think I would notice that I had missed a step out and had an unopened part too lol.

Bunged a new one on ( what a relief) put the caps back on the others and am now wondering where I can put my newly ordered ones when they arrive

Happens to the best of us! I refuse to refer to it as a Senior Moment!

Oh yay. Glad you got sorted.
