It's been a couple years since I've been on this website and admittedly my diabetes control has slipped massively. I am suffering with nerve damage in my foot already and have been put on long term codeine. I figure me posting on here will help me have some accountability for my own health and would be really good to reconnect with old members that remember me 🙂

*{Waves}* Nice to see you again Rosie. I'm sorry you're having the problems :(
Did you use to be down as a T2?

Welcome back,I have often wondered how you are doing.

Welcome back Rosie.

Well I recall your name @Rosiecarmel - but not the details now. Best update us on what you are currently having difficulty with so we can update you on our latest bright ideas! Shedloads more LADA's about the forum these days too, so welcome back and you'll have plenty of 'company'!

Yes, I remember you, good to see you again, and welcome back!

Hi Rosie 🙂 great to see you again welcome back.

Sorry you're having problems with neuropathy, it is a right pain. Hope the codeine is doing some good for you.

Welcome back @Rosiecarmel 🙂

So sorry to hear that the diabetes fairy has been messing with you, and about your nerve pain and need for regular painkillers.

Hope we can support you towards more in-range results to reduce your neuropathic pain and slow any progress.

Hiya Rosie. Great to see you posting again! :D

Welcome back Rosie.

Hi Rosie, I remember you very well. Sorry you are having problems at the moment but don't fret over it, it happens to us all at times, just pick yourself up and go back to the old things that worked before, like almost starting over, I'm sure you will come out on top. I have also acquired nerve damage in my foot, my podiatrist referred me to our hospital to see the vascular surgeon which concerned me until he prescribed made to measure compression stockings {that was a relief I was thinking all sorts including amputation 😱 } Just shows how our minds work, always thinking the worst scenario 🙂

Best wishes
John.

Thanks everyone good to be back!

Ah, I'm sorry to hear you're suffering too, Ukjohn. Nerve damage is a b*tch! Do the compression stockings work? It might be worth me buying some whilst my Dr's figure out the best treatment plan

Rosie, you can get the compression stockings on prescription, the Nurse Practitioner measured my feet ankles up to my knees and the surgery sent of the details to get them made I suffered a lot of searing pain which has now almost gone so I can only put that down to the compression.

John.
