Oh dear oh dear.
On holiday in Catalonia and have just enjoyed one of the best things about this area.... menu del dia. These are lunches at local restaurants and normally cost 12 to 15 euros (€12) for a 4 course meal incl. wine and coffee.
Why oh dear? Well... Green salad (good boy) followed by seafood on its own but cooked in olive oil ( mmm... just about ok) followed by fish and ratatouille (good boy) followed by ... uh oh!! .... shared a tiramasu and cream catalan. Look it up! Total for last course alone is about 400 cals!!! Bang goes my blood sugar readings this morning of 5.5!! Ah well... start all over again. My 5:2 diet not going well on this holiday!! Wine doesn't help either!

Don't worry about the calories, they won't affect you BS readings, though that rather tast tiramasu probably will. Olive oil is a very healthy fat, so don't worry about that either. But best of all, you are on holiday, so don't worry about anything!:D

Wine doesn't help either
I usually find that it helps a lot...... I don't care about the BG levels after a few bottles....

Seriously, don't beat yourself up, you are on vacation... Actually the food sounds pretty good tiramisu is not something I'd go for but I;ve never been big on deserts anyway... The cream will slow down adsorption of the carbs

Crema Catalan - ie Spanish Crème Brulee, but if anything, more azucar LOL

You could have requested un helado, instead !
