KNOXVILLE ? Kiss-a-Pig is one of the American Diabetes Association?s unique fundraising campaigns, and seven local officials have volunteered as candidates to benefit the American Diabetes Association. Participants compete to raise money for diabetes research and programs and the individual who raises the most money gets to kiss a pig. This is the first ever citywide Kiss-a-Pig event for Knoxville, and it is being hosted by the KCDC Wellness Warriors as a team fundraiser to benefit the American Diabetes Association?s Step Out: Walk to Stop Diabetes on Sunday, October 20th.
