O well Off to get my results for my 12 month MOT ......expcecting an increase in my HbA1c!

Had a tough last 12 months caring for my Mum and then her dying late last year I didnt give my Diabetes the attention it required.

Onwards and upwards..........can't put it off any longer.

Wish me luck.............hope I dont get shouted at.
 
Good luck Sheilagh 🙂 If it has gone up then I hope they are very supportive rather than shouting at you, and after a difficult year you will be able to understand the reasons for any increase. I hope that you are pleasantly surprised 🙂
 
Hope all goes well; after your tough 12 months I'm crossing all my fingers & toes that your results are fine.

O dear just shows what happens when you aren't as focussed as you should be.

HbA1c has increased from 6.5 to 7.4. I have put half a stone back on in last year and my blood pressure is higher than they would like it to be. Next week I have to have a blood pressure monitor fitted for 24 hours they will then decide if I need any treatment.

I need to have another blood test in 3 months time if HbA1c hasnt come back down I need to go on medication.

Diet and Exercise regime starts here 😱
 
Whilst not ideal Sheilagh, under the circumstances that's not bad at all. Now you have something to aim for I'm sure you will do it, and we're all behind you! 🙂
