Off for my 6 monthly Diabetic review with the nurse

Just about to leave to got for my 6 monthly Diabetic review with the nurse 😱.

Dissappointed with myself as i know I could of done better. BG Results are better than they where 6 months ago but still room for improvement. Let myself down on the diet and exercise though been playing with the same few pounds on and off. The dreaded Metaformin might be heading my way because of this.

So tomorrow is a new day and I don't want to feel as this way in another 6 months time.

Hope the appointment goes well Sheilagh - I've just been for mine! Don't be too hard on yourself, sometimes we go through periods of feeling a bit blah with it all, but the appointment makes us sit up and look at things, and as you say you want to be feeling much more positive by the time the next one comes around, so look forward not back! 🙂

But .............O dear put 5 pounds of weight on since last November

The nurse has given me a leaflet to join a scheme called New Life New You.....change a little and live a lot. Help with healthier eating, lifestyle and activities ..............all this for only a ?1 per session.

She is going to ring me on Friday with my results.

Glad that the appointment went well. A lot of us seem to get wound up before out appointments and then feel get a lot of relief once we have had the appointment.
