OBESITY and diabetes are the focus of an event this month that asks the question: what should weight management clinics offer?
Plymouth Postgraduate Medical Centre at Derriford will host the 14th Plymouth Symposium on obesity, diabetes and metabolic syndrome on Thursday, May 22.
Some of the topics under the spotlight will include bariatric surgery and non-surgical aspects of bariatric management, the use of apps and technology for follow-up and diabetes management and a study of life after weight loss surgery.
