Comparing the app I use (nutrapp) to my daughter (MyFitness) and noticed that hers calculates cholesterol consumed as well as sat fat and normal fat but mine doesn't. I assumed sat fat was the same. I am interested to know how much i am consuming although I understand the cholesterol we consume doesn't link to the cholesterol in our body but something our body makes, just wonder why some apps calculate it and others don't.

Is your app actually called nutrapp or nutracheck. Nutrachek does calculate saturated fat etc.

Nutracheck 🙂 sorry that was me, it does indeed calculate sat fat but Myfitness calculates sat fat in addition to Cholesterol so I was confused and thought they must be different things
