Bill. I wish you well in your endeavour. Though I fear it's going to be a long hard battle for you.

Not really seeing it as a battle. I will listen and they will listen.
Hopefully all will pick up a few things.
At least the conversation will happen.

It's nothing that any D cant do.

Sounds like she needs her batteries changing Bill. The programme is stuck! 🙄
LOL, Amigo. 🙂 In my experience, most diabetes-related medical types are 'stuck'. I've been direbetic for 9 years now but when I met my new GP recently he started from the beginning! He printed off a glucose log for me - with PICTURES representing meals, etc. as well as the words! Inside my head I was screaming "I'm 50! I'm chronic, not illiterate!" Nod n smile, nod n smile...o_O Then I went to reception to ask about getting strips and needles and the receptionist said "When you see you're running out of supplies (eh? That's stating the bleeding obvious) you come in and make an appt with the nurse..." nod n smile, smile n nod.o_O They all seem lovely and caring and patient, etc, etc at my new health centre, but...per-lease...😱

"the bloody brainless template...parrot fashion" - love it, Bill!🙂

Once asked my GP if he know much about diabetes...he replied 'not much' (at least honest)...that question was rhetorical...his ignorance was already apparent!

My 'let off steam' was more a way of saying 'get it out in the open', than a ranting tirade ever could, Bill.

Although - being politely 'very cross about it', doesn't usually do much harm, in my experience.
