FAILING to pay nurses and NHS workers a one per cent pay increase has attracted criticism from former Health Minister Mike O’Brien.
The Labour parliamentary candidate for North Warwickshire believes the government’s decision not to pay the increase has sene them break a promise.
He said: “Nurses and NHS workers will feel really let down by the Conservatives.
“They have broken the promise given by [Chancellor] George Osborne that they would get a one per cent increase.
