Nope, this just gets weirder and weirder. I thought i understood but frankly i'm utterly confused by the whole thing. The drugs in question aren't even made by the same company and apparently the seroquel tablets were in strips cut down to fit in the nurofen box. I think somebody somewhere at a warehouse or dare i suggest in a pharmacy has been up to no good. This implies extreme levels of daftness that no ammount of lapses of concentration can account for. Oh, goody, more trouble at work on Tuesday i think, we've only just gotten over the insulin and lockable fridge crisis. Luckily we don't stock Nurofen, plus or otherwise, it's much too expensive, we just dish out big pink ibuprofen tablets from generic companies. I'd like to point out that i'd never cut down something to put it back in an original box, and final checks in our pharmacy always involve opening the box to check the contents.

Whoever did it has probably achieved their aim - I bet there has been a big dip in sales of nurofen plus, even though as you say it's pretty obvious that the substituted pills don't belog in the box.
