I have been taking upto three times more then usual yet i still cant get my levels below eleven for example at 10 pm i was 17.4 so i took a three unit correction so in theory that should have at least bought me down by nine but 2 hours later im still 16.4 but there are two possible things that could also be contibuting to the high levels, 1 is i have had a bit of a dodgy throat fo the last few days 2 the fridge was accidently left a little bit open over night last week could this hace affected the insulin.

I would suspect that you are fighting an infection Carole - you may have few symptoms but often it's only your blood sugar that shows what's really going on. Having left the fridge door ajar shouldn't have made much difference since insulin can normally be left at room temperature for 28 days or more.

Hope you are feeling better soon! 🙂
