Hey Guys, haven't been around much lately. Been a busy bee with uni stuff and exams.
Just came back from a week in Spain for a university field course, very much enjoyed it 🙂 Unfortunately bloods weren't great, you may be shocked but to me diabetes has to come 2nd in my conditions as coeliac comes first 🙂 They fed me well but I didn't think to split dose for the 3 course dinner until the last night... doh! Hit 18mmol/l a good few times which is odd as it is certain that I have a threshold, rarely go past that.
Now I am trying to get back into the swing of things, my D-chart is looking rather empty so that needs to get filled up this month!
My sister has been testing a bit recently as she's been getting 'the shakes' and finds herself in the 3's often!! But more worryingly one time after a sandwich and lucozade (carby but still) she shot to 11 then 9 and then within two hours 3.5!! The 3.5 after 2 hrs worried me most, it sounds like her panc' is overcompensating
I'm getting her to test when she feels like she needs to now but doubt that regularly haha.
I have an appointment regarding my M.E. (Myalgic Encephalomyelitis) on monday, not sure what to expect. Except for that I am revising a lot now
I hate exams!
