Can you eat low carb on a Sliming World diet?
That is the only way I can lose weight and feel well, but I make all my own meals.

You’ve written that you’re Type 2/1 - is your diagnosis still uncertain?

What would an average day’s food look like for you, and do you test your own blood sugar? If so, what numbers are you getting?

Hi Sarah f, welcome to the forum.

Have you been able to speak with your doctor about this? It sounds as though you're the right things so might just be worth checking in with your GP so they can rule out any other issues.

Have they done scans/Xrays to try and determine what's causing the pancreatitis?

I wonder if the acute pancreatitis might put you more in the Type 3c bracket (which some medics are still coming to terms with)

Sorry to hear that you are putting on weight despite feeling that you aren't eating much - that must be quite disheartening :(

Have you considered reducing the carb content of your meals so that you can add in other macronutrients like protein and fat that help you feel fuller for longer?
