Hi stacey, very sorry to hear that you have been poorly, I hope you feel much better very soon. Diabetes can make you feel worse because it usually results in higher blood sugar levels when you are ill. Try to drink some water though, as it's important not to become dehydrated.

Do you get your feet checked regularly? It should be one of your annual checks so that any potential problems can be picked up as soon as possible. I know that you are reluctant, but I think it's important that you see your doctor to discuss your problems - it's what they are there for and there may be a simple explanation and treatment available, so don't go on suffering unnecessarily! 🙂

Illness makes me feel poorly & hits my blood sugars badly.

Can you get anymore test strips to check what's going on?
But make sure you drink water, if you don't want a meal maybe a piece of fruit or toast so your body has some fuel.

I'd go to your docs & get your feet checked out so that nothing is going on

Hi Stacey, sorry to hear you are having a rough time. I'd suggest getting some more test strips as it's important to know what's going on when you are unwell. I don't know what the problem with your feet could be but it's important to get it looked at if only to put your mind at rest. You won't be bothering your doctor - that's what they are there for and they would rather you go than leave things to get worse. take care and I hope you feel better soon.
