Hi Guys
I hope you are all keeping well, got a bit of catching up to do and got lots to tell.
things have been pretty tough i stopped taking all my medication but after seeing dsn yesterday im pleased to say im back on it,i just couldent see the point in taking any of it if it was'nt working the only down side is my dsn is leaving so my next appointment is with another dsn she has been left instructions for me to be given the accu chek expert meter and for them to help me with my carb counting and so on,she did increase my levemir to 16 units morning and night and hve seen a huge improvement today my lowest level was 4.2 and my highest has been 5.6.
I better shut up now,but befor i go i have just one thing more to add,

Im going to be a granma🙂:D🙂

Congratulations on your grandma news! :D

I'm sorry to hear that you've had a frustrating time getting your meds to work for you, but glad to see that the adjustments are doing the trick - great numbers there! 🙂 Diabetes can be very stubborn at times but there is always a lot that can be done so please don't give up on the meds again if things seems to be stalling. I hope that your new DSN is as good as your last one. I know some of our members use the Expert and have been very happy with it, so hopefully you will find it very useful 🙂

Congratulations on the news of Grandmahood. (Did I make that word up).

Diabetes can be frustrating - at time there seems no pattern to what is happening. I am glad you got some help - just a shame that your DSN is leaving. I hope that you find the new one just as good.

Keep on with the meds and if you are feeling down come and post here.

Ahhhh Carole knew I guessed your news when you were on last time and you had to be hush hush hehe, congrats all round.nice to see you posting

p.s hope things start to improve with meds

Congrats on your forthcoming grandmahood (now it seems to be a word!):D

Well done on your bloods. They're better than most non-Ds 🙂

Lucky you, getting an expert. I hope it helps you to get your ratios right.🙂

That's lovely news caroleann about becoming a granma ( I like to be a Nana) :D Your readings at the moment are very good, I'm so glad things are going well for you, Carb counting is second nature to me now, but you will get the hang of it, and I'm sure you will do really well. Good luck. When's the baby due ? Sheena x

Baby is due in march.

Congratulations on your forthcomming grandmahood.( It's definitely a word now)
My grandson was a March baby and is 3 and a half now, well almost. I'm a Nanan. I was going to be a Mama like my Mum was but the birth was too soon after her passing (7 months) so it didn't feel right.
I hope things are more settled now with your meds. Some great readings there. Keep it up. XXXXX
