Just thought I'd drop in a short post to let you know my sad news.

My lovely father passed away on 3rd August, very peacefully at home with his family around him.

My dad had Type 2 (same as me & my older brother). He had end stage kidney disease & had been on dialysis for about 18 months when about 3 weeks ago it all got too much & didn't work as well. Diabetes was listed as a contributing factor.

Been a bit of a cruel year so far as we also lost my father-in-law (he had T2 as well) early April.

Take care & look after yourselves (especially your kidneys)
