Not again!!!!

As some know a few weeks ago had a lump under my arm after anti biotics worked I thought yippeee.Well tonight I go in the bath low and behold ones gone now another had appeared I was downheartened to say the least came down showed other half and he said that looks angry.I have had my appointment through for the mammogram although I think its a waste of time but hay ho im a good pacient thats the 15th Sept.
I wish never had that bath now.. so once again got the same old worry I will have to wait till Tuesday now when im in for my hbA....

I know this could be a sign of bad control, but honestly my numbers have been ok not totally awesome but fine.

Try not to worry, maybe you just need a stronger course of antibiotics or something. Or could it be an ingrown hair?

Is it definitely a mammogram you've been referred for? They're not normally used for younger women as the breast tissue is denser so it's hard to see anything unusual. I've been for ultrasound and biopsy of lumps before, and it's nothing to worry about. The staff are always very reassuring and professional, and sometimes you get the results on the same day.

Pigeon yeah it is,I also am having an ultrasound... I cant help but worry its my nature ive had 3 of these now (1 op) so I just keep thinking one time its gonna be bad news. Im good at giving out positivity to anyone else but when its my own stuff then im not so great 🙄

Hi Steff. You must be sick to death of them by now. As has been said maybe you need stronger antibiotics to clear them up once and for all. If I were you I'd let the DSN have a look when you go for your appointment. She might have more idea what it might be and be able to put your mind at rest. Take care. XXXX

Hi Steff, it may be you just need a stronger course of antibiotics. The main thing is you are getting things looked out.

From others experiences, if the doctor thought it was anything more serious than just a lump needing to be investigated and treated with anti biotics, you'd have had scans and mamorgrammes quite soon after you noticed the first lump.

I hope things get better soon and you are reassured.

Thanks everyone,unfortunetly i cant do nothing today as im waiting on council coming and been waiting since May,they need to sort the leak in our garage, what I have done though is make appointment for Friday,locum doctor is in.

Do you get them in your arm pits? If so they could be sebaceous cysts.

Hi Steff, I hope this one clears up. It probably is something simple, like they didn't give you a long enough course of antibiotics last time so the tiny bit of infection that was left after the treatment came back. I get quite a lot of lumps in the arm pit area too and have taught myself not to worry about them too much, antibiotics usually do the job. They are often a sign of stress and feeling "low" as this can reduce your immunity, that's why I get my lumps ... Try not to worry too much, easier said than done I know (my GP told me that this morning!) we are all here to give you hugs and support if you need it xxx

Thanks Nat the stress thing rings true, you know that feeling you get though "oh not again" this time though its alot harder but I wont start scaring myself,i'll let doc do that for me xx
