People will hear about how those with diabetes can protect their eyesight at a talk next week in memory of the woman behind one of the biggest names in the book trade.
The eighth Elsie Bertram Memorial Lecture will be at the John Innes Centre at 7pm on Tuesday. It is open to everyone and free to attend.
Mrs Bertram, who founded Bertram Books with her son, Kip, achieved a great deal for diabetes services in Norfolk after Kip and his brother, Nigel, were diagnosed with the condition.
