Trade unionists in Northern Ireland are planning a campaign to scrap the Transforming Your Care review, according to CSP senior negotiating officer Claire Ronald.
The review was commissioned by health minister Edwin Poots and published in 2011. It sets out changes to the provision of health and social care services in Northern Ireland, including ‘a diverse choice of provision’ across public and private sector providers.
Speaking to Frontline following a conference organised by the Northern Ireland committee of the Irish Congress of Trade Unions, Ms Ronald said: ‘The committee wants to campaign on getting the minister to abolish Transforming Your Care.’
