Staff at three north Norfolk supermarkets have taken part in a charity cycle challenge, pedalling more than 6,600 miles and covering a distance equivalent to a trek to the North Pole.
Cheered on by shoppers and colleagues, dozens of workers at Tesco stores at Sheringham, Aylsham and Stalham took turns on static bikes as part of a store-wide event aimed at raising £1m for Diabetes UK.
The Christmas-themed challenge, which is in its second year, was part of a fund-raising partnership between Tesco and Diabetes UK, which campaigns for and supports people affected by, or at risk of, diabetes.
