A North-east dad has raised more than £17,000 for charity after taking on a gruelling triathlon.
Davie Cowie, of Westhill, and 108 other people, took on an 800-metre swim at Bucksburn swimming pool and then headed to Dunecht Estate where he completed a 5km run and 20km cycle.
The money will help JDRF, which funds research into type 1 diabetes.
Davie became a supporter for JDRF when his nine-year-old son Adam who also took part in the triathlon, was diagnosed in 2013.

Great effort from all involved 🙂
