Enjoy your D free weekend!

Oh the dangers of letting receptionists give people test results ......... :D

Enjoy your D free week and this week is my treat week so donuts all round...

Depends on the doctors surgery, our receptionists are pretty clued up but doctor dopey idiot wont let them give out test results because they are not medically qualified.

Well you have made and improvement in any case - so well done you! :D

I'd prefer the receptionists to give out the numbers, but ignore the Doctors silly comment. But then I've had D for a while now and do have half an idea what the numbers might mean.

Yup, the ones who have been there ages, when they see it's an A1c tend to say to themselves - hang on, you'll want the number for that won't you - as they go deeper into their puter system to find it.

One of their ilk doesn't. In fact she appears to resent any questions at all, eg Can I make an appointment please? and if you have to say eg Sorry I'm on holiday that week - she responds with a Deep Sigh. When I'm in the right mood, I love her. Great fun, winding her up ...... 😛
