Fundraisers who set off from the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital returned from cycling almost 700 miles to the south-west of France in aid of the Norfolk Diabetes Trust.
The team returned with almost ?3,000 sponsorship after being inspired by Ed Masters? 14-year-old son, Jack who was diagnosed with type one diabetes more than two years ago. Mr Masters, who runs Barnmasters estate agents and lives in Thorpe, said the ride was hard work and emotional.
But he said: ?Thoughts of my son, Jack, kept me going.
