Nonorapid Flexpen 'skipping'

Hi all,

Just wondered if anyone has ever had a problem with novorapid flexpens sort of 'skipping' ? Quite hard to explain but it's like it doesn't click through all of the numbers, it goes down too fast (not just fast clicking) and doesnt make a clicking sound.

This has happened to me on occasion before and its really annoying as i dont think it gives any insulin when it does it! This latest batch that i've got at the minute keeps doing it so i'm going to get on to the customer service. Just wondered if anyone had experienced similar? Could it be due to the size of needle? i use 8mm BD ones.

Just wondering, do you do an air shot before injecting? Sometimes insulin leaks between doses if you leave the needle on and you need to dial up a couple of units and get rid of the air before actually injecting... Sorry if you already know this, just thought I'd check 🙂
