No one met us

Hubby and I went to meet Hobie at Keswick last night.
I could not find them felt such a nutter going in and out of SWEENEYS keeped asking the staff so that the people in there could hear me if anybody cauled HOBIE was in and they did not know but there wasent many in, so thought they might hear me .
Then we sat outside untill 8.45 and then went home.
Its hard when you dont know what the people you are looking for look like.
Sorry to have missed you HOBIE.

Ahh sorry to hear that, i noticed neither were on yesterday to see your posts so maybe that might be why,l i know hobie and one other had been mailing(Nyadach?) so maybe they was a change of plan and cause neither were on yeserday they could not tell you , x

Ye said that to Hubby that they might have gone someware else and as we dident know what they looked like. Well it was a nice run out anyway only 25 miles and it was a nice night. We cauled at a friends on the way back home.
Hubby was ready for bed when we got back as he had been out to the Scout Camp all day at Ennerdale.

Thanks steff , i have been in touch with grandma and i bet we were less than 8ft away from each other. A real shame but will be back ! Will have to have a copy of the newspaper under my left arm or a daft hat on or something next time.

that made me laugh. I did feel a bit of a daft sod sitting there looking at everybody going in hubby had gone for a fish and just left me there.
I just keeped smiling at everybody bet they thought I was a bit mad just sitting there. Never mind next time I will make sure I have better info and they know I am comeing.
