I am currently experiencing massive night-time hypos between 3 and 3 and a half hours after injecting Filagrastim (part of my chemotherapy treatment for breast cancer). After giving usual hypo treatment (fruit juice and biscuit) another even bigger hypo occurs about 2 hours later this time even lower. I have tried reducing my evening basal, taking less bolus with my evening meal, and having a snack before bedtime but it makes no difference. Does anyone else on this forum have a similar experience of hypos after taking Filagrastim (which boosts white blood cells) and what was the solution? N.B. I see from the parmaceutical data that the drug has an active life of 3 and a half hours which seems to be significant!
