This is just a general moan post lol.

I had another hypo at the weekend at night, my god are they not the worst thing ever?!?!

I overestimated a correction dose on Sat night at bedtime which caused it (silly me, I wasn't thinking straight!!) and woke my OH up to get me jelly babies but I swear I could have eaten the whole kitchen! And sweating?! My god it was lashing off me!

Felt like poop on Sunday most of the day too! Urgh.

Just wanted to moan to those who know what it's like as other people just don't get it at all!

It's particularly horrible at night I think, because the symptoms can be so much more confusing than when you are wide awake :( Hopefully, knowing the probable cause will help prevent it happening too often. I always try and avoid correcting before bed unless I'm in the mid to high teens. I'm currently in the happy position where I no longer need lantus, so in theory I shouldn't be at risk - doesn't stop it happening every now and then though!

Hope that's the last one you have for a very long time! 🙂

Poor you they are the worst hypos. I hope you are feeling better today

Just wanted to add that I hope you are feeling better today and there was no repeat hypo last night x

Though I can't possibly know what it feels like, I do hope you feel much better today too. It must be really unnerving waking in the middle of the night, it can be disorienting enough, without a hypo to boot.

Have things settled down generally for you now? As I recall, you were having lots of issues post-DAFNE course and I have been wondering how things are going for you? Hope things are much more stable. As for your error the other evening, we all have days with a bit of an addled brain where we make silly mistakes, so your over-correction was all just part of being a woman :D
