Relationship to Diabetes
At risk of diabetes
Currently pre diabetes but shift in and out on a regular basis, as the pancreas doesn't work at all. This was following a Whipple procedure after beind diagnosed with ampullary cancer in 2011. It wasn't until 2017 that I finally reached the diabetic stage so I take Creon for enzyme replacement and Colesevelam for bile acid malabsorption as I have no bile duct either. There are many other prescription medications to keep me well, so a total of 32 pills are downed on a daily basis!

Hi @Silverjan , and welcome to the forum.
I'm just a TOFI type 2 or was until I used Low Carb way of eating to put it onto remission.

You'll have to give me a chance to get up to speed with the abbreviations! AFAIK my HbA1c is 42 according to my last test but my GP practice is way behind with testing during the pandemic.
One question about the set up here I wanted to ask - I used to be able to find a specific joke page, but can only find a entertainment mixed page. I have in the past particularly appreciated the funnies by long term member Pura Vida. Could someone let me know where on the updated site I can find the jokes page now?

I think you are confusing this site (.org.uk) with the totally unrelated red site (.co.uk) !!
