Hi Guys,

I went to the Gym this morning. It felt real good when the instructor remarked that I have thinned out. A couple of days ago I tried on some jeans which I had bought a few years ago. It fitted me better than when I first bought them too!
I will weigh myself soon, but the fact the jeans fit real good, and I do feel fitter as well. I must be doing something right!
Onwards and Upwards

Just going to email my doctor in advance of my appointment on the 5th December. Just to say the past few days, I have felt better having just 2 metformin per day in the evening as opposed to the 4. I have made changes to my diet - More fish, fruit and veg, less chocolate, crisps and fizzy drinks. Well...fizzy water is good. Onwards and Upwards

Well done Rustee - You certainly must be doing something right.
I know of few better motivators, than trying on something that has been hanging forlornly in the wardrobe for ages, due to being too tight and finding that now it fits!!
It actually tend to be a better indicator than the scales sometimes, as due all sorts of fluctuations it can take a while for weight loss to show. (Anyway I'm sure my scales lie sometimes. (?!)

So pleased for you Rustee. I agree it is a great feeling when others mention you look slimmer or more toned and you can get back into clothes that were getting too tight or had been completely outgrown.
If I am having a down day and struggling for motivation or feeling like I might cheat I go into my bedroom and try on old clothes that I haven't worn for 30 years and it really gives me the boost I need to stick with it.

I love it when something I've had for ages fits me again, but that doesn't happen recently and blow me we got on holiday this year and all Pete's shorts had shrunk in the wash - not!

Well done Rustee !! No better endorphins to be had than the ones you have!

It’s a great feeling when clothes you haven’t been able to wear fit nicely again.

Tip. It might be a good idea to invest in a belt or even some braces, I wish I had, you see I parked up in the street one day , got out of my car annnd

well waistband to ankles says it all 😱:D

Thanks Guys - I am surprised myself. Usually I would have stopped, especially if going through an anxious/depressed episode. However, since I joined the gym in September 2018. Its is brilliant. I can design and alter my workouts and I am seeing the results.
