Found these in my local Iceland, only 3g of carbs each.
They are quite small so had both with a load of veg.
Will have to go back and stock up!

Gotta love a gratin!

£6 though! And not gluten free anyway so off the menu for me. Good to have an option for those who like that sort of thing though.

Not sure I think the taste of cheese goes well with the taste of smoked haddock, is all. I have to say when I make cheese sauce it's what the chemistry teacher would describe as 'concentrated' cos it has too much cheddar to the volume of sauce!

Interesting ingredients list. I'm still trying to understand the connection between sugar & carbohydrates.
Is maltodextrin suitable for diabetics?
Given this description I don't think it would be too good.
Maltodextrin is an oligosaccharide that is used as a food ingredient. It is produced from grain starch by partial hydrolysis and is usually found as a white hygroscopic spray-dried powder. Maltodextrin is easily digestible, being absorbed as rapidly as glucose and may be either moderately sweet or almost flavourless. Wikipedia
