EMMA WALKER, who worked at Salford Royal Hospital, was given a 16-month suspended sentence and ordered to do 250 hours of unpaid work.

AN NHS worker stole thousands of syringes, gloves and hand gel packs from her hospital and made ?29,000 selling them on eBay.

Emma Walker, 39, took so much equipment she had to turn one of her bedrooms into a store for it.

Her husband ran a business selling the goods online, and it made profits of ?29,145.
