LAST October a campaign was launched to persuade NHS staff to commit to two healthy lifestyle changes and monitor their progress over six months enabling them to see improvement in their own health.
Staff from every health board, NHS Trust and the Welsh Government?s health and social care department signed up to the campaign and through their involvement were encouraged to inspire their patients and the public about the importance of leading healthier lifestyles.
They were asked to actively implement two of five lifestyle changes; drink safely, take regular exercise, eat healthily, stop smoking and work towards a healthy weight.
Each person set their own challenges and has reported on their progress online at regular intervals throughout the six month period.
