NEW FIGURES released by the NHS have shown that nearly three times as many people have had to wait longer than four hours in Accident and Emergency at Torbay Hospital than this time last year.

The figures, from NHS England Statistics, A and E Weekly Sitreps, show that 11.8 per cent of major admissions to A and E, 2,408 people, have had to wait more than four hours in Quarter 2 of 2014/15. This compares to last year when only 4.4 per cent, 891 people, had to wait that long. Click on the map to see the latest figures.
