A woman from Somerset has won her appeal for the NHS to fund an operation which she hopes will stop her from being constantly sick.
Alison Noel, from Midsomer Norton, has a stomach condition called gastroparesis, and has lost 40% of her body weight in the past three years.
Bath and North East Somerset Primary Care Trust originally refused to pay for the treatment, but it has now reconsidered its decision.
The surgery is to be carried out soon.
