A GRANDAD who died three times in the back of an ambulance says he is living proof of the skills and dedication of Swansea's doctors, nurses and paramedics.
Lynne Fuge had gone shopping to Gorseinon with wife Barbara when he began to feel unwell.
The 69-year-old retired fitter and turner from Dunvant said: "I started having pain in my chest. My wife phoned the ambulance and they arrived incredibly quickly.
"They put me on the stretcher, took me into the ambulance and did an ECG. That was when they said I was having a heart attack and that the next few hours would be crucial.
