GPs seeking help with depression, addiction, stress and other mental health issues can now access support from the GP Health Service, following its launch on Monday 30 January.
The world's first dedicated health service for GPs is now live, offering free, confidential help for GPs and GP trainees.
The self-referral-only service, which can be contacted on 0300 0303 300, operates 8am-8pm on weekdays and 8am-2pm on Saturday across 13 sites in England.
It is not intended for emergency or crisis issues, which should be directed to mainstream NHS.

They could save money just by getting rid of Jeremy Hunt and pursuing a more supportive policy for the NHS, and GPs in particular.
