Hi. My partner was recently diagnosed with type 2. Was sent a letter to arrange his eye screening but we cannot get an appointment at the suggested local opticians. We were asked to contact the NHS diabetes eye screening hub... that was a week ago, no call back as yet. Starting to get very worried. Has this happened to anyone else? At a loss as to what to do.

Some areas are a bit behind as Covid put a halt to the eye screening so you may have a while to wait but just keep calling and you should get one soon.
