HEALTH chiefs have announced they have received a clean bill of health for their new organisation nine months after their launch.
NHS England imposed a string of conditions on the running of the GP-led NHS Vale of York Clinical Commissioning Group (CCG) amid long-standing concerns over the financial stability of the health service in North Yorkshire.
Officials said yesterday it had now met all the requirements.
The decision means the organisation, which commissions services for more than 300,000 people, is no longer subject to detailed monitoring which had included checks on its capacity to make savings.
