Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt was blasted today for not naming the NHS inspectors who covered up a botched probe into hospital baby deaths.
Grieving families are demanding that the staff responsible for the conspiracy are brought to book.
But no one involved in the scandal at the Care Quality Commission has been named or sacked.
Mr Hunt talked tough after a damning independent report slammed the watchdog?s review into the deaths at Cumbrian hospitals.
But the Health Secretary refused to use House of Commons protection to expose the guilty inspectors whose names were all kept secret in the report.
