I had my annual review at the GP today, I’ve not used the NHS app before, got it for covid passport stuff. I’ve already received notification on some of my bloods, and pending some others and from the urine sample. But, I can’t see my Hba1c mentioned. Is this because it’s all new to me (there’s no previous results, although I know the hospital aren’t great at information sharing with the GP) or does the app not show that? I’m a little worried it’s been forgotten, that was my reason for going!

When you say you’ve received notification do you mean you can see the results in the app? If you’re new to the app have you requested permission to see your blood test results?

I received an email notification saying there were results, when I go into the app (and online) I can see some blood test results, and some are pending, the Hba1c isn’t listed at all

My HbA1c result often takes 2 - 3 days longer than the rest to appear.

@Cheesecake , when I was a research subject a few weeks ago, I had a raft of bloods done, which included the A1c test.

Bloods were drawn at 8am, and by 12 virtually all of my results were in. Notably absent was my A1c. I was told they usually come back after a day or so.

I have had A1cs done overseas and had results in a few hours, so I don't know if our labs routinely run them in batches.

Don't panic, it'll arrive.

I've been fighting tooth and nail with our surgery to get the test info online. They seem to think we might be damaged in some way if they let us see it.

I mentioned online info at reception when I was at the clinic.
'Oh we don't do that.'
Sigh.
