Two teenage pals from Coventry pulled off a masterstroke by swimming the equivalent of the English Channel for charity.
Best friends Katie Bennett and Libby Bird, who is diabetic, swam an incredible 708 lengths of Coventry’s 50metre pool between them to achieve the 22-mile distance.
The pair, who both swim for City of Coventry Swimming Club, completed their fantastic achievement in seven hours.
