Ok. I’d keep hydrated and try to eat lightly at regular intervals eg soup, crackers, etc. Sugar free squash might be good, along with tea (I find hot drinks can be soothing) and you can also get sugar-free ice pops if your throat feels rough. Rest lots. It really helps.
Sorry to hear about your diabetes diagnosis, and now your brush with Covid too!
