Hi all,
Newly diagnosed here, currently treated at Type 2 to but they say it’s possible Type 1 TBC.
Had a 6.1 HBA1C a year ago, new test results not through yet but diagnosed based on polyuria any high blood glucose. 10-16mmol rarely lower even after fasting. Also keytones and high glucose in pee.
One thing I’m really struggling with is knowing how to eat. One of my other symptoms was a 7 kg weight loss over the last 6 months so I need to up calories.
I’ve completely cut out processed carbs which is fine, but my instinct when sugar levels are high is to not eat at all, but I know this is probably wrong.
Any tips? It’s all quite confusing.
