DOZENS of newly-diagnosed diabetes patients have flocked to an educational event aimed at raising awareness of the condition.
Organised by the Northern, Eastern and Western Devon Clinical Commissioning Group (NEW Devon CCG), today’s event features an array of local specialist nurses, dietitians and consultants from Derriford Hospital.
As well as nutritional advice and information, the event also offered newly-diagnosed diabetes patients the opportunity to talk directly to experts.
