Just to say hi..

I’m the parent of a fairly newly diagnosed 19yr old Type1 son diagnosed just over a year ago..at this point he’s doing really well with his diabetes management
Its been a massive learning curve shock and lifestyle adjustment but glad I can post any questions i have here!

Welcome to the forum @Jani

I’ve moved your post into a thread of its own so that it doesn’t get tangled up with someone else’s replies.

Sorry to hear about your son’s diagnosis - but glad to hear he is doing well with his diabetes management. It certainly is a steep learning curve!

Many T1 members here have found Ragnar Hanas’s book Type 1 Diabetes in Children Adolescents and Young People really helpful. 🙂
