Hi, I don't know whether I'm in the right section here, but here goes.
I've been looking at the Newcastle Diet plan, and read that as well as the three shakes one can have 3 to 4 portions of vegetables a day. Eighty grams representing one portion. If you have tried the ND, did you stick
rigidly to the amount of vegetables recommended? And do you have any recipes for soups, or ways of cooking the vegetables hopefully to make them taste good, because vegetables on their own can be a bit uninviting.

Thanks

Is that 80 gm by weight?
I love my veges, but just eat a more Atkins type diet flavouring my veges with steak or pork chops, lamb or chicken...

I'm with you there, Drummer, I love meat in most forms. The Newcastle Diet says three or four portions of vegetables are allowed per day, each portion weighing 80 grams. Still thinking about it! Can I do it, or can't I?

But a few interesting vegetable recipes may convince me!
