Just wondered if anyone was at the Quids for Kids thing in Newcastle yesterday (or the Newcastle area - not sure whereabouts it actually was)? There were folks doing talks about welfare rights for parents of kids with diabetes?

Just wondered, as it was my big sister doing some of the talks, I had no idea she was doing it, she told me afterwards! 🙂

Oh no i was travelling back from London so please anyone who knows let us know how it went.

I thought of you Steff when she told me! Must add - she doesn't have diabetes or a child with, she was there on the job as a welfare rights officer.

Any feedback would be great (and dont worry if it's bad, I wont be telling her lol). I had no idea she was doing it, and she hasn't asked me for any info or anything, so it was completely out of the blue.

No-one? That's a shame - I thought there'd have been some of you there, apparently there were a few parents there. I wonder if they had info handed out that could point them here!
